  • The day before yesterday it was over 100 in my Oklahoma town. A line of thunderstorms rolled through and the temp dropped to 80. Thrilled that the weather channel was showing 80 degrees on our computers, we left work at 5:00 thinking how great it would be.

  • I don't think she would look nearly so old! That photo makes her look closer to 60 than to 50. Her neck looks like mine and I'm over 60.

  • As a lifelong resident of tornado alley I have to say that even I am amazed at the size of the storms that have come through in the past few years. We Oklahomans are extremely fortunate to have the warning system in place that really saves lives.

  • I remember watching OLTL with my mother when I'd come home from school. I remember when Larry Wolek and Meredith Lord were the couple dealing with parental disapproval. When AMC started, it didn't take me long to start caring about the problems of the Martins and the Tylers.

  • I'm seriously thinking about adding HBO just so I can watch Game of Thrones. I thought about it when True Blood started but managed to resist. Don't know if I can resist the pull of the Starks and Lannisters.

  • I liked "Dollhouse", another Joss Whedon show that Fox refused to give a proper chance. If I were Joss, I'd never pitch my shows to Fox ever again!

  • James Franco is a hoot and I'm looking forward to the show to see how he and Anne Hathaway compare to past hosts. I suspect they'll be better than some, worse than others.

  • I am thrilled the missing baby was found, but I can't figure out many of the comments here. Where did it say the motive was getting welfare? Where did it say the child was abused? I went back and re-read the article looking for such references and found nothing.
